What people have shared with us
"We came in not knowing what to expect — my husband and I had been talking past each other for months. The facilitator didn't push us anywhere. She just held the space, and something shifted. It's hard to explain, but it helped."
Laura K.
British expat, Phuket — June 2025
"The communication workshop was practical, not abstract. We came as a parent and adult child and both found things we could actually use. The take-home journal has been useful — I still refer to it."
Wiroj P.
Thai-Australian, Phuket — May 2025
"The reflective record was something we didn't know we needed. After several conversations, having our agreed points written down clearly — in our own words, not formal language — made a real difference to how we both felt going forward."
Marc & Rachel D.
French-Canadian couple, Phuket — June 2025
"I was sceptical at first — it sounded too gentle to be useful. But the structure of the facilitation session meant we actually finished a difficult conversation instead of letting it drift. Worth trying if you've been putting something off."
James S.
New Zealand expat, Phuket — July 2025
"Nattaporn was excellent with the bilingual element — my mother doesn't speak much English and I was worried about things getting lost. She handled it thoughtfully and both of us felt heard."
Pim T.
Thai, Phuket — May 2025
"As an expat family managing a transition from two different cultural backgrounds, we found Sophie's approach genuinely even-handed. Nothing felt pushed. We left with more clarity than we'd had in months."
Annika V.
Dutch-Thai family, Phuket — June 2025

A few family journeys in more detail
Shared with permission, with identifying details changed at each family's request.
Challenge
An international couple relocating from Europe to Phuket were struggling to align on family priorities — differing expectations about work, schooling, and extended family involvement had created ongoing tension.
Session Used
They attended two facilitation sessions over three weeks, with a gap in between to reflect. Both participated voluntarily. A reflective record was prepared at their request after the second session.
Outcome
The couple reported that having a neutral space changed the quality of the conversations. The written record gave both a reference point they could return to without re-opening the full conversation.
"It didn't fix everything — but it gave us a way to keep talking." — Partner, European expat couple
Challenge
An adult child and parent, both living in Phuket, had found certain topics difficult to raise directly. Conversations would start carefully and then stall or escalate.
Session Used
A communication workshop was attended separately by each family member first, then a joint facilitation session was arranged. Total engagement spanned about six weeks.
Outcome
Both reported feeling better equipped to raise difficult topics. The workshop had given them a shared vocabulary to draw on. They didn't resolve every difference — but said the conversations were less charged.
"Having the same framework in mind made it easier to pause and start again." — Adult participant
